Project Runway – Candy Couture

On this season of Lifetime’s “Project Runway,” the judges challenged the group of fashion designers to create wearable garments out of candy. Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York provided the sweet inspiration, and the designers set to work creating “candy couture.” Licorice, gumballs and – of course – Jelly Belly® beans were all featured in some of the episode’s most memorable designs, including this one-of-a-kind dress by designer Sonjia Williams. Berry Blue Jelly Belly beans played beautifully off a gummi shark collar and rock candy skirt, and Sonjia’s design was selected as one of the top three finalists of the episode!

Kina Grannis in Australia

Kina Grannis toured Australia earlier this year, selling out 3 concerts at the Sydney Opera House. Many have asked how she has done this without a record label, she replied “YouTube”.

See Kina appear in a very clever video clip idea using over 250,000 Jelly Belly jelly beans, taking around 22 months, it was well worth the wait and I must say very creative!

2012 Farm to Pub

A very healthy turnout of 170 people braved the hot conditions to take part in the 9th Annual Farm to Pub at Willaura. Together with the numerous volunteers and supporters, a total of $6,270 was raised for Beyondblue.

Jelly Belly donated the beans for the show bags handed out to contestants, which were warmly received! There is nothing better than a good dose of Jelly Belly’s after a work out on a hot day!
